The Rustic Pint provides an interactive art experience that gives participants the opportunity to paint on reclaimed wood canvases while enjoying craft beer with their favorite people. In addition to holding events in typical brick and mortar locations, they also have an e-commerce site which allows people to purchase DIY painting kits.  

THE SOLUTION
Website Refresh and Digital Strategy

The original website needed to be updated to allow for a more efficient user experience and to quickly show the two options for creating custom art – attend an event or purchase a take home kit. We wanted to call out these two options quickly via the homepage so users could begin their on-line journey as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Site navigation was also enhanced to increase the ease and usability of the site.

The changes resulted in an a more streamlined user experience and an increase in pages viewed per session.

Building a larger presence

Reducing budgetary waste while positioning promotional materials in-front of the target audience was the main goal of social strategy. Our research indicated that prior to hiring BHC, ads were targeted via geography only and not by target audience and that a large portion of the spend was spent advertising to people outside of the target demographic.
